Listen, I don't speak a lot of Spanish, so I have to read the subs. I'm pretty sure you don't actually mean to be offensive, but the actor's demeanor and the repeating use of slurs like "faggot" give the impression that the fisherman has a very specific view of gay men. And as you probably know, the first words of any forgein language one learns are the swear words, so I'm pretty confident in thinking that "puto maricon" isn't a term of endearment either, so in that sense this could be concieved as offensive.
Personally, I'm already five clips on and I couldn't care less anymore, mind you.
